Artemis Fowl is a 2019 American science fantasy adventure film based on Eoin Colfer's novel of the same name. Directed by Kenneth Branagh and written by Michael Goldenberg, Adam Kline and Conor McPherson, the film stars newcomers Ferdia Shaw and Lara McDonnell, with Nonso Anozie, Hong Chau, Josh Gad and Judi Dench in supporting roles. It will be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on August 9, 2019.
