Tarzan (also marketed as Tarzan 3D) is an American-German-French English-language, animated motion capture, family film directed by German producer Reinhard Klooss which was released on 17 October 2013 in Russia. The film will be released across early 2014 in other countries. The film stars Kellan Lutz, Spencer Locke, Anton Zetterholm and Jaime Ray Newman. The screenplay was written by Reinhard Klooss, Jessica Postigo and Yoni Brenner. The film is based on the classic book Tarzan of the Apes (1914) by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and is one of many adaptations.
